Dear Juno, You definitely dealt with one of the hardest decisions of your life. However, you dealt with this situation with great maturity for your age, you decided to go through with the pregnancy and put the baby up for adoption. You had other options, but you decided to have the baby despite your age and criticism you received while pregnant, you knew that you were not fit to become a parent but you knew that you made the right decision for yourself. I believe that you were very mature while handling the situation especially because there were people supporting your decision. Juno you were strong about your decision to have an abortion until one of your peers was outside of the abortion clinic and told you that the baby had fingernails. This was the point where Juno believe that she should have the baby. You could have avoided this whole situation if you hadn’t ad unprotected sex. The father of the your child was not there to you throughout your pregnancy, and seemed like he didn’t care much for the child. You felt very strong about your choice to carry the baby to term and in the end, you were content with your decision.
Roe v. Wade, is in favor of abortion rights, and states that every single women has the right to have an abortion. I am in favor of this Supreme Court ruling, every women should have the right to make her own decisions for themselves, it’s their bodies. Abortion still remains a controversial topic in this nation, but other cannot make decisions for you. Women should have this option available to them, some women are not ready to conceive children. I am pro-choice and I believe that women should have the right to end their pregnancy, many people would disagree but they can’t decide what the best option for a women is. Overall, Juno, you made the right decision for yourself, it was a difficult decision to make especially since you’re 16, but your decision was also supported by your family and you seemed content in the end.
